Banker’s Hill Office
2055 3rd Ave, Suite B
San Diego, CA 92101
Accessibility
There are two steps to get into the building. There is a solid handrail on the left side of the building as you enter. There is no wheelchair accessible entrance to the building. Once into the building, you turn left into the suite where there are several chairs to sit on. Filtered hot and cold water is available as is tea. There is also a non gender / all gender bathroom in the suite.
Parking
There is no dedicated client parking for this building. There is ample street parking available, usually within a block or two, allowing clients to park with ease. We are also 2 blocks from Balboa Park which also has abundant free parking (on most days).
Light
There is daylight from the two big windows in the office. There is also three lamps in the room. We welcome clients to let us know if at any time the light seems too bright or too direct so that we can change it to meet clients’ needs.
Noise
There is some noise from the airplanes as we are right under the flight path. Depending on the time of day, one might hear several planes go overhead in an hour. I’ve found that the noise is dampened when one is inside with the three doors in between them and the plane. I’ve noticed that sometimes, hearing a plane or seeing its shadow on the wall will become a reminder to take a deep breath in and out, to revel in being in the city so close to the airport and the Pacific Ocean next to it, and to appreciate the wonder of science in creating such an amazing instrument, allowing us humans to fly.
COVID - 19
We take COVID-19 seriously. We have taken a long while to resume services. We know that cases are still occurring and we continue to keep an eye on the wastewater counts. We know that we want to do our very best to not add to the spread of the illness and/at the same time, are ready to return to the office for in - person sessions.
We ask that all those who want to be seen in-person send us a copy of their COVID-19 vaccination confirmations and/or cards. We require that those who are ill, from COVID-19 or any illness, move their appointment online or reschedule their session. Clinicians will continue to wear masks at in - person sessions. More information will be provided to those seeking in - person sessions.
