We welcome your questions. In fact, we encourage them. Here’s a list of common questions potential clients and their loved ones want to know.

How long do sessions last?

Counseling sessions last 45 minutes.

Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy sessions last 45 minutes.

Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy classes last 60 minutes.

Phoenix Rising Yoga Group sessions last about 2 hours.

How often will I need to come to counseling?

We find that clients who attend weekly sessions get the best results. We urge our clients to pick a recurring appointment day/time moving to ensure the best support and consistency possible for all involved.

How much do sessions cost?

Dr. Camilla Williams’s session fee is $225.
Dr. Abigail “Abi” Weissman’s session fee is $250.

Longer sessions are available depending on need and clinician availability. At times, clients may want to have longer sessions for partner(s) and family work and for EMDR. Additional charges apply for coordination of care and out of session letter writing.

Are sessions covered by my insurance?

In short, no, not directly. No Waves provider is in-network with any insurance company.

We can provide receipts that clients can submit to their insurance companies if they have benefits.

Clients are responsible for submitting for insurance reimbursement through their insurance company.

If you have a PPO insurance, then you might be able to be reimbursed for some of your costs, depending on your plan. You would need to check on your benefits by calling the number on the back of your insurance card. Please ask your insurance company if and/or what the reimbursement is for CPT codes 90971 (intake appointment); 90834 (45 to 52 minute session); and 90837 (53+ minute session). 90846 and 90847 are also common CPT codes used in billing, especially for family sessions.

Please be aware that if you want a receipt to submit to insurance then it will have the diagnosis code(s) that we are treating you for, as applicable. We will not change the code, even if you learn that your insurance company won’t reimburse for that diagnosis.

Please ask your insurance company if you have a deductible and if you do, if sessions with an out-of-network provider will count towards the deductible or not. It depends on the plan.

We do take HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA cards and can provide you will a receipt to provide for your insurance.

Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy sessions are usually not reimbursable directly through insurance. Please check with your insurance company to see if these sessions can be charged on one’s Health Savings Account card, as applicable.

How do I seek reimbursement from my insurance company?

In order to seek reimbursement from your insurance company, you would need to call them and ask what out-of-network (OON) services are covered. Please note that we are not participating in any insurance plans. Often, insurance companies request a detailed receipt, called a superbill. We will provide that receipt for you in the portal if you let us know that you would like one.

If you do have out-of-network benefits, one company that can be of help in submitting your claims and tracking them is Reimbursify. We at Waves have no relationship with Reimbursify. We suggest them as an option and encourage you to do your own due diligence regarding the use of their services.

Do you have evening appointments available?

Yes!

Dr. Camilla Williams’s last appointment begins at 6 pm.

How long will I need to come to counseling?

It really depends on the person and their goals. Length of treatment will be discussed with you during the first few sessions along with their therapeutic goals. During treatment, we encourage clients to check in with us about how therapy is progressing and we clinicians will check in with you about how therapy is going and adjust our time frames accordingly.

Good Faith Estimate Notice
